Cabarrus College of Health is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced librarian to work as needed during staff vacancies and on special projects as required. The person in this position would report to the Librarian, Cabarrus Health Sciences Library, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. Job responsibilities would include covering the library's reference services, greeting visitors, and assisting persons using the library in person, by fax, by telephone, and e-mail. Work may include: (1) assisting library visitors with book or audiovisual circulation; (2) photocopying of materials; (3) item re-shelving; (4) computer searches on databases such as AHEC Digital Library; (5) assuring the library is staffed; (6) supervising student library attendants, and (7) other routine library responsibilities. |
